Romanian National Day RFE
Friday, December 1st, 2023
15:00 UTC – 21:00 UTC
Event organized by IVAO Romania
In celebration of the Romanian National Day our division invites you to join a Real Flight Event taking place in the country’s capital, Bucharest.
A Real Flight Event is an event where the real world airline schedules of an airport are followed during the time of event by all participants.
Participation in this event requires the pilots to book a slot ahead of the event using our BOOKING SYSTEM. You can either book scheduled flight or a private slot!
Private slots are only visible when logged in!
You can find the booking system HERE and a detailed pilot briefing HERE.
In the flights list you will find a pair of commemoration flights with the callsign YRLID for our dear late colleague and friend Lucian, who has left us a little over a year ago. Thank you Lucian for everything and may you rest in peace!
As a pilot during the event, you are kindly requested to:
> Make sure you have the latest AIRAC!
> Be prepared – have access to charts.
> Note the speed and altitude restrictions on SIDs and STARs.
> Be ready – you may be asked to enter holding patterns, fly headings and speeds.
> Remember – Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.
We suggest that all pilots use freeware or payware scenery as default sceneries in the flight simulators may be outdated.
